embarking on our entrepreneurial project!

Our final idea for this entrepreneurial project is to incorporate what we have learnt from last semester and turn our skills into a source of revenue.

We decided to sell IKEA mugs which are hand-decorated using cut-outs from motifs made of paper napkins. We sourced for the materials needed for this project from various shops and started working on the designs...

These are just some of the designs that we came up with for the mugs. There are some other exclusive ones which we set at a higher price, according to the type of mug and the design. More details to be updated on my blog when the mugs are out for sale! =)

mr bean goes shopping

All the lesson planning and projects about consumer education had gotten me all uptight, so i decided to cheer myself up by watching YouTube (yes, that's how i release stress.. hehe).. and guess what.... i came upon Mr Bean's videos which ALSO relate to consumer education... indeed, home econs is really a wonderful subject.... cos it's EVERYWHERE..... hehee... =)

the start of a new semester

It's the start of the new year and here we go doing our usual stuff again.
More lesson plans, more setting of papers and learning comm skills before we set out for practicum..
