why it can be useful to have good drawing skills

The first lesson of the Home Economics Curriculum & Evaluation module was quite a breeze. No cheesy get-to-know sessions and no weird introductions required.

A question was flashed on the screen and we were asked- what Home Economics means to us; ideas to be presented in the form of pictures.

I wonder which part of the sentence we missed, cos we started drawing a flow chart instead. Well anyway, good thing li whey added some pictures here and there.

As the other groups presented their works, to be frank i was paying more attention to the beautiful sketches and illustrations instead... and thinking, these people sure can draw.

So generally everyone had the basically same idea of what Home Economics mean to them. Cooking, sewing, money management, health & nutrition - the list goes on. Nevertheless, whatever our thoughts are based on, what matters most is that we love & appreciate the subject and most importantly find pleasure in learning - and in future, teaching it.
